Consilium Advisory Signs MoU with Box Hill College Kuwait to Setup Entrepreneurship Center
Abu Halifa, Kuwait – Box Hill College Kuwait and Consilium Advisory have signed a Memorandum of Understanding earlier in January by which Consilium Advisory will provide technical support to set up the College’s Entrepreneurship Center and services for entrepreneurs from the student and alumni bodies as well as the local Kuwaiti community.
Both organizations, Box Hill College Kuwait and Consilium Advisory, aspire for this center to be the destination of choice for start-ups and growing businesses, sourcing the best talents, and attracting the top entrepreneurial jobs and opportunities in Kuwait. This is coupled with a complete setup to support new and growing businesses by offering state-of-the-art, plug-and-play offices, comprehensive list of shared business services, and an unparalleled network of partners and customers to help businesses get access to market.
The MoU was signed by Professor Ali Arifa, President of Box Hill College Kuwait, and Dr. Mohammad Barakat, Managing Partner of Consilium Advisory, at a ceremony held in Box Hill College Kuwait.
Commenting, Professor Arifa said: “The signing of this MoU represents the commencement of BHCK’s and Consilium’s enterprise to inspire the growing number of Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to embark on their personal journeys in business by means of access to world-class expertise, resources and practical approaches to business startup, growth and expansion.” He added: “BHCK is proud that many of its students and alumni have successfully started their own businesses already and we are hopefully this center will continue the College’s mission to help many other students and local community members succeed as outstanding entrepreneurs.”
Speaking on behalf of Consilium Advisory, Dr. Barakat said: “Multi-colored small and medium business enterprises are the backbone of any economy and we will work closely with the leadership, faculty and staff of BHCK to avail all and any business and technical capacity for Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to realize their entrepreneurial ventures in Kuwait and across the border. Consilium Advisory is fully committed to supporting through the firm’s regional expertise and international network of entrepreneurial hubs and partners not only for starting businesses but also through incubation, acceleration and internationalization services.”

The Center, which will be officially launched on 02/18/ 2018, is expected to offer a plethora of services in capacity building, business startup services, growth and expansion support, as well a series of specialized workshops and events throughout the year.
